Lakeview Museum Pre-Kindergarten
Lakeview Museum offers a unique Pre-Kindergarten with an emphasis on hands on learning experience for your child’s intellectual, social and physical development.
Planned for the year before kindergarten, the program takes full advantage of the Museum setting and includes:
- Science programs in the Planetarium and Discovery Center
- Gallery visits with changing exhibitions
- Weekly art and music lessons with a specialist in the field
- School Loan exhibits in the classroom to coordinate with unit activities.
The Lakeview Museum Pre-Kindergarten:
- Accepts just 24 children in each class
- Classes meet five days a week from 8:45 to 11:15 a.m. or Noon – 2:30 p.m.
- Children must be four years old by September 1 of the year they start Pre-Kindergarten
- Enrollment is accepted based on the earliest application dates. Applications are accepted after the child’s birth.
- Lakeview Museum Pre-Kindergarten is licensed by the State of Illinois
